Ten Conversations Research Project
Ten Conversations Research Project. Funded by Dance Consortium Northwest,
Dr Mel Brierley, Penny Collinson, and Jude Bird developed the research project Ten Conversations. The purpose of our project Ten Conversations is to find effective ways to communicate, promote, and widen the reach of practice, research, and training in movement/dance for creative health across Cumbria and Lancashire.
Looking outwards as an experienced group of practitioners and researchers, we aim to embed the values and benefits of somatic movement/dance as support to health in people’s perceptions across the region.
Our project Ten Conversations is the first step towards a shared vision of creating a sustainable somatic movement and dance Hub for Cumbria and Lancashire. In future, our aim is to extend the hub to connect across Northwest region, throughout the UK and further afield.
